This morning I discovered a whole network of trails being built around Nim Shue Wan, a small village near Discovery Bay. These trails are currently being built as the array of tools lying around suggests.

These trails are not yet fully complete, with dead ends scattered throughout, however I did spot at least three individual trails with many intersections along the way.

Many of the trails are currently off-camber with lose rocks and sawn-off tree trunks protruding out of the ground along the way. If you happen to find yourself on any of these trails you want to be sure that you are wearing hiking boots.

While medical supplies and other personal items were secured away in boxes, food wrappings, newspapers, cigarette butts and boxes, and other used items including used chain saw blades were left lying around only to be blown away in the wind.

These hiking trails are something to look forward to, however I just wish that the workers would be a little more careful about where they put their rubbish when building these trails. If they can carry around boxes with personal items, then surely they can also carry around another box for rubbish that they would otherwise leave lying around.
