As apposed to Lantau Trail Stage 2 Reversed, Lantau Trail Stage 1 Reversed scores minimum stars for both enjoyment and difficulty. Walking down a road is less than enjoying especially with the frequent traffic on this road, and in terms of difficulty the road is mainly all downhill.
Lantau Trail Stage 1 Reversed gets you from the end of Lantau Trail Stage 2 Reversed to Mui Wo. Follow the road down the hill until you reach the round-a-bout at the bottom.

There are two opportunities to see some of the smaller villages located around Mui Wo.






Turn right at the round-a-bout at the bottom of the hill and head towards Silvermine Bay Ferry Pier. From here you can catch a ferry to Central or Discovery Bay. You may also walk to Discovery Bay via Route 1, Route 2 or Route 3 or to Tung Chung.
