Short-Horned Grasshopper (Family Acrididae):

Short horned grasshoppers vary greatly in size shape and coloring, however they do have some unique characteristics such as large hind legs, short antennae and well developed wings. They can be seen hopping around during the day, that is if you can see them as they blend into the path very well and they are very quick.
